Dr. Im is a board-certified radiologist specializing in Musculoskeletal Radiology and Breast Imaging.

After graduating from Harvard University with cum laude honors in biology, Dr. Im attended medical school at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.

Dr. Im completed a one year internship at UC Irvine, followed by a four year Diagnostic Radiology residency at New York University in Manhattan. As a resident, Dr. Im was awarded the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Trainee Research Prize and International Skeletal Society (ISS) Travel Grant for his MRI research. Following his residency, Dr. Im completed a Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at UC San Diego.

Dr. Im went on to pursue his clinical interest in breast cancer screening and diagnosis. He has contributed to published articles in Radiology, Proceedings of the National Academy of Science (PNAS), and Clinical Imaging.
